Garage Door Repair during Night Shift
After numerous cases and thousands of garage door services we hardly get surprised by peculiar problems but this Saturday night about two months ago we were called to deal with a very significant security problem. Mike Newman had lost control of his car and crashed into his garage door. The mechanism was seriously damaged and, in these cases, it is difficult to understand which garage door repair parts will be needed for the service. Hence, one of our crews rushed off with full equipment.
The truth is that Newman was surprised to see us so soon at this time of night on a Saturday but it was our job to respond as fast as we could. He was still incredibly upset from the accident and very anxious for the damage of the door. Indeed, the door seemed to be in terrible condition and our technicians got to work right away. The garage door tracks and cables were severely damaged and we had to check the springs, too. One of the hinges was pulled off and we had to make several adjustments. We had to ensure that the whole project would be concluded soon because all these problems could create significant security holes.
Garage door panel repair took most of our time but we needed to make sure all components would be checked, too. One of the cables had to be replaced and despite the late hour, we had to focus on our work to make sure Mr. Newman's home would be secured and his garage door would work fine. A few hours later, everything seemed to be in order. All damaged garage door parts were fixed and our client seemed to be happy by our work and the final price. “I cannot believe that you managed to save my door. It does work as if it were new” he said and that was the best award for our tired team, which managed to pull off such hard work in a few hours in the middle of the night.
